Welcome to the GES Music page!

Let me share a quick note about myself.   I moved to Southaven, MS from Chicago, IL in 2013.  Since moving to Southaven I have obtained my Mississippi State Board of Education K-6 Elementary Teaching Certification.  When I was in Chicago, I worked in the public school system for over twenty years.  While there, I received a Masters Degree in  Elementary Education from DePaul University, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Technology Education from National Lewis University. Also while in Chicago I was a music theory major.  During that time I gained a joy for music. Now I hope I will be able to share my joy for music with my students.
