This is my sixteenth year teaching! I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I continued my education at Arkansas State to get my Masters in leadership. My first eight years teaching were right here at GES in first grade! I last four year teaching high school English and coaching basketball. My love and passion for teaching first grade and watching my students grow to love reading brought me right back to where I started teaching!

Now for a little bit about me. I live in Tunica with my husband and our three children. I have a daughter that will be a junior at Mississippi State, a son going into the eleventh grade, and a three year old son! We are a farming family that loves all sports and anything outdoors. When we are not watching our son play sports, I love to spend time with my family on our farm and on the lake.
